My lame excuse for starting this blog
I honestly didn't want to start a blog. Or to be precise, I did want to start one, but not here and not now. What happened was that I went to a blog started by a colleague, Imre Szabó, and wanted to leave a short note just to let him know that I visited his blog. (The address is http://imreict.blogspot.com) As it turned out, he set it up in a way that only registered Blogspot user can post comments, so I really had no choice. Once I registered it was too easy to start this blog...

Actually, one can post without logging in to Blogger. Just click the Post Anonymous button under the sign in area. I use www.haloscan.com on my blog because then one doesn't have to be a registered user to leave a comment.
